The Most Practical, hands-on and Cost Effective Linux, Python and BioPython Course for Life Science professional.

This online course is designed by working professionals in a way that the course will progress from introducing you to the basics of computer programming, python and learning language to assist you with your day to day biological computing work. It will also assist you with customization of your resources as per your requirement. Now a days it has become inevitable to know a programming language to assist one with making sense of the high data being generated by different sequencing technique. The most commonly used and developed language which biologists finds the easiest to adapt to is Python, and its very vast and highly developed BioPython module. The BioPython module comes with a huge support for various biological data management activities and data format support. It’s the call of the hour to be empowered with this technology, and be self reliant.

Course Instructor
Pallavi Sharma

Pallavi has got 10 years of experience in the field of information technology and Bioinformatics. She has completed her post graduation in bioinformatics, followed with a one year research assistant job at Virginia State University. She has been taking online training on PERL, Python, BioPerl, and BioPython as well as providing project consultation on them since last 3 years.

Her abilities lies in personalizing training according to partcipant's learning ability. Her classes are highly interactive and every topic discussed is followed with lot of practical examples. She also believes that the learner has to also put in efforts which she assures by giving assignments to them.
